The Hidden Master: Tae Baek Ho is a healing drama series co-directed by Kimbo Kim and Min Heo. Starring Jang Sung Bum, Kino (PENTAGON), Im Young Ju, Ri Min, Ha Rin, Cheon Hee Ju, Moon Jae Kyung, Kim Young Hoon, and Kim Hyun Gyu, the 10-episode series follows a misfit task force on a warm and quirky mission to reconnect isolated youth with the world.
Story:

스물여덟, 무일푼에 폭행 전과까지 — 경찰의 꿈이 무너진 백호(장성범)는 친구 세일의 소파에 얹혀살다 우연히 은둔고수재단에 발을 들인다. 은둔형 외톨이, 즉 방 안에 스스로를 가두고 세상과의 접촉을 완전히 끊어버린 사람들을 구출하는 소규모 민간 조직이다.
새로 합류한 팀은 완벽과는 거리가 멀다. 보스(임영주)는 자신의 은둔과 자해 이력을 치열한 유능함 뒤에 감추고 있다. 덱스터(키노)는 날카로운 분석력과 유창한 일본어 실력을 갖춘 팀의 두뇌로, 오타쿠 지식이 리서치 능력만큼이나 빛을 발한다. 이사장(리민)은 순전한 고집으로 조직을 지탱해온 따뜻한 베테랑이다. 그리고 세일(김현규)은 백호의 절친이자 팝컬처 유튜버로, 백호가 아무리 밀어내도 절대 포기하지 않는 유일한 사람이다.
사건마다 이 오합지졸 팀은 고립된 영혼들을 하나씩 빛 속으로 이끌어낸다. 5년째 바깥을 모르는 남자 — 편의점 키오스크 소리에 마비된 채. 왕따를 당해 숨어버린 젊은 오타쿠 — 댄스와 라이브 방송을 통해 자신을 되찾는다. 그룹에서 잘린 뒤 극단적 선택 직전까지 간 일본인 케이팝 연습생. 그리고 12년째 방 안에 갇혀 있던 한 여자 — 그녀의 위기가 백호를 돌이킬 수 없는 선을 넘게 만든다.
마지막 사건이 그를 산산조각 낸다. 죄책감에 짓눌리고 자신이 열었던 모든 문에 사로잡힌 백호는 고향집으로 퇴각한다 — 그리고 몇 달간 남들을 구하려 했던 바로 그것이 되어버린다. 이제 팀은 구원자를 구해야 한다. 백호가 처음으로 구했던 그 사람의 도움을 빌려서.

Baek Ho (Jang Seong-beom) is twenty-eight, broke, and carrying an assault conviction that killed his dream of becoming a police officer. Crashing on his friend Sale's couch with nowhere to go, he stumbles into a job at the Hidden Master Foundation — a small civilian outfit that rescues hikikomori: people who have sealed themselves inside their rooms and cut off all contact with the outside world.
His new team is far from perfect. Boss (Lim Young-ju), the squad leader, hides her own history of isolation and self-harm behind fierce competence. Dexter (Kino), the team's brain, is a sharp analyst and fluent Japanese speaker whose otaku knowledge proves as vital as his research skills. The Chairman (Lee Min), a warm-hearted veteran who founded the organisation, keeps the mission alive through sheer stubbornness. And Sale (Kim Hyun-gyu), Baek Ho's best friend and a YouTuber who streams about pop culture, is the one person who refuses to give up on him — even when Baek Ho pushes him away.
Case by case, this band of misfits coaxes one isolated soul after another back into the light. A man who hasn't stepped outside in five years, paralysed by the beep of a convenience-store kiosk. A young otaku shut-in, bullied into hiding, who rediscovers himself through dance and livestreaming. A Japanese K-pop trainee who nearly ends her life after being cut from her group. And a woman sealed away for twelve years, whose crisis forces Baek Ho to cross a line he can't uncross.
That final case shatters him. Shaken by guilt and haunted by every door he ever opened, Baek Ho retreats to his family home — and becomes the very thing he spent months trying to save others from. Now the squad must rescue the rescuer, with the help of the first person Baek Ho ever saved.
