Dot Slash Dash

The Brand Film For Dot Slash Dash

Directed by Jisun Lee

New York Production Led by Kimbo Kim & Emily Strange

The Project

Dot Slash Dash is a Korean-built memory platform designed to help people record, store, and share everyday moments. The app's core concept — "save 4 minutes a day, and after a year you'll have 24 hours of memories" — transforms ordinary daily life into a meaningful personal archive.

The brand film brings this philosophy to life on the streets of New York City. Set against the energy and diversity of Brooklyn and Queens, the film follows a cast of young, expressive individuals navigating their daily routines — capturing the kind of spontaneous, authentic moments the app is built to preserve. The visual tone is warm, stylish, and grounded in real urban life.

Filming Across Brooklyn & Queens

The brand film was filmed entirely on location across Brooklyn and Queens, capturing the raw texture of New York's outer boroughs as a backdrop for everyday life worth remembering. From Brooklyn's waterfront parks and street-level storefronts to Queens' residential neighborhoods and local gathering spots, the production used each location to reflect the app's inclusive, everyday-first approach to memory.

37th Degree managed full New York City production, coordinating filming permits, local crew, location access, and logistics across multiple Brooklyn and Queens locations.
